Who is Maila Baje?

Finally a royalist who can write. Reading him, you'd think that Gyanendra was the greatest political strategist, a true patriot and an overall gentleman. I think it's funny how hard he tries to interpret every political development as "not really bad for Gyanendra" because, you know, he knew things would turn this way all along and has a "plan", he's just playing with China off India, etc. Expect a royal proclamation that explains everything you ever wanted to know about Nepali politics soon.

Finding a royalist who can write these days is like finding a communist leader who cannot speak in public. :) Making good speeches is in communists' blood, making a lazy ass, bhudiwaalaa is in the royalists' blood.

i meant, being a lazy..., not 'making'.

whosoever this maila baje is...good on him for spewing his intellectual bile...but the bottom line is...its nothing transformative nor a radical approach to archaic problems prevalent in Nepal.

i don't see any positivity in his statements. its the same stuff that the 60-plus geriatrics have been churning out for decades...nothing new at all....

pseudo intellectual gossip and couch potato analyses is all i see. and its unhelpful, directionless, pathetic and painful.

what i'd like to ask maila baje is
1. where do you actually stand?
2. what vision do you personally advocate for?
3. and if ur analyses are so insightful, why don't you provide space for comments in your blogspot?
4. are you a wanker?
5. have you dropped acid before? if not, perhaps you should.

Reading Maila Baje is fun if accounts of small historical episodes charms you. I read him precisely for this, though I do keep in my mind his royalist perspective. You can always laugh at his wierd predictions on things that his age and background don't allow him to 'see' in the light of the day.
