"I agree that it's pretty much the best television channel in the world. It has depth. It had breadth. It has investigations and smart commentaries. It hustles - it has scoops. Much better than CNN or BBC. Fox is not even in the same league"

But,

"I will have to stop watching it because it's the third world perspective. And If I keep watching third-world perspectives I'd agree with them more and more and that's bad [because then I'd be missing out on fox news provincialism.]"

And,

"Just to show how deep and intellectual I am, and not talking out of my ass, I'll also name-drop Orwell. Because, you know, Orwell warned about this kinda things. You know, the power of media, big-brother, an omnipotent media etc...so yeah...beware of the Muslim channel, it'll convert you."

नेपाली मिडियाका धेरै कमजोरी र पूर्वाग्रहरु छन्। तर पतितताको सर्बोत्कृष्ट उपाधि चाहिं हिमाललाई नै जान्छ। जाजरकोटमा हैजा लागेर मर्ने असहाय नेपालीहरुको अपमान गर्नु देखि लिएर प्रचन्ड र हिटलरलाई एउटै ग्याङ्गमा राख्ने अनपढ, बुद्दिहिनताको उदाहरण तल पेश छ।

जनयुद्ध स्थगन गर्नुअघि मावादीको सङ्कट हैजाग्रस्त जाजरकोटकोे भन्दा चौगुणा बढी थियो। जनयुद्धकालमा भिडन्तमा मारिने सुरक्षाकर्मी र मावादीको अनुपात क्रमशः ३ः७ थियो। २०६२-६३ को जनआन्दोलनको तयारीका बेला मावादीलाई शान्तिपूर्ण आन्दोलन सफल हुनेमा रत्तिभर विश्वास थिएन। तर शान्तिपूर्ण भएकै कारण सफलता पाएको सत्यमाथि पर्दा हालेर ११ वैशाख २०६३ पछि मावादीहरू द्वितीय विश्वयुद्धको बेला मस्कोको लडाइँमा पराजित हुनुअघिका नाजीवादीहरूझ्ैं हरेक मोर्चामा नाफामा पुगेको ठम्याइमा छन्। राजनीति व्यापार होइन, जनताप्रतिको समर्पणको वास्तविकता हो भनी नबुझनु हिटलरलाई झैं प्रचण्डलाई समेत महँगो हुनेछ।
