Fake notes, terrorism: India’s concerns

NEW DELHI, Aug 21 - Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said one of the major concerns India has with Nepal is the flow of fake Indian currency to India through Nepal. The other two concerns are Nepal’s being used for terrorist activities directed at India and the use of madrasas for anti-India activities.

Menon also met with former prime minister and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala on Tuesday. In the meeting, Koirala said "India must pressure Maoists to ensure that they behave sincerely," said Sujata Koirala, the NC's International Department chief.

...Meanwhile, in Delhi, the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) on Tuesday charged the Indian government with remaining passive over China's growing influence in Nepal.
